Leading Practice Disclosures for Selected Exposures

This paper highlights some leading disclosure practices among twenty large, internationally oriented financial firms — fifteen banks and five securities firms — whose disclosure data was surveyed. Also discussed briefly are the disclosure requirements for SPEs imposed by accounting standards.
